PostureMinder History |
|
PostureMinder was conceived by Dr Philip Worthington during a painful attack of backache resulting from poor posture whilst working at his computer
The original concept has been refined through over 4 years of intensive research, development, user testing and feedback to become the award-winning PostureMinder software you can now buy. Along the way it was awarded first prize in the University of Manchester (then UMIST) IT Venture Centre Ideas Competition in May 2004
In March 2007, Oxley Technology Group Ltd acquired a major shareholding in PostureMinder Ltd. PostureMinder version 1.1 was launched in May 2007, and won a British Safety Industry Federation Innovation Award at the Safety and Health Expo 2007
